Please join the Madison Flute Club for our first annual Flute Sounds of the Season. Flutists of all ages are invited to join the Madison Flute Club in a collaborative Holiday flute choir to raise funds and food for the Allied Marsh Food Pantry.
Do you have a piccolo, flute, alto flute, or bass flute? We would love to see you there! Other C and G instruments are also welcome. We will consider other woodwinds and strings of a different key if there is interest. Admission for players and the audience is a non perishable food item or cash donation for the food pantry.
All musicians and audience members are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation for the Allied Marsh Food Pantry. Registration and setup is at 12:00 PM. We will rehearse from 12:30 – 3:00 PM, and present a community concert at 3:30 PM. All concert attendees are encouraged to bring a food pantry donation as well.
A reception will follow the concert for all musicians and the audience. Hors d’ouvres, treats, and beverages will be provided. Please join us to help make the Holidays brighter for many families while celebrating with fun holiday music.
Our guest conductor this year is Victor Gorodinsky, Director of the University of Wisconsin Russian Folk Orchestra!
Please register in advance to receive your music early. Musician registrations are also welcome at the door. We hope to see you there either as a musician or an audience participant. Let’s fill the food pantry this holiday season!
